The Sustainable Water Network (SWAN)

The assessments are required to inform the design and implementation of biodiversity enhancement and conservation management measures at Whites Marsh including but not limited to the creation of wetland habitat and natural water features such as ponds, water bodies, scrapes and the installation of visitor infrastructure such as a nature trail and bird hide (s) at Island Strand Intake (Whites Marsh), Inchydoney, Clonakilty Co. Cork. The focus of the civil design and visitor infrastructure will be on a nature friendly and ecologically sensitive design using responsibly sourced, sustainable and environmentally friendly materials. Avoidance of adverse impacts to the flora and fauna of the area is a key objective which will inform the civil design of the project.

Lot 1 Monitoring Services: Environmental, geotechnical and geoheritage monitoring of Avoca and Silvermines. To include: Reviews of conceptual flow model, monitoring objectives and monitoring network integrity at the sites; Twice a year environmental monitoring including surface water, groundwater and dust; Annual geotechnical and geoheritage monitoring.

Gestaltung, Planung und behördliche Genehmigung für die Minderung der Auswirkungen von drei (3) instream barriers in den Demonstrations-Einzugsgebieten des LIFE-Projekts Waters of LIFE. Zwei Barrieren befinden sich im Shournagh Demonstrations-Einzugsgebiet in Co. Cork und eine im Graney Demonstrations-Einzugsgebiet in Co. Clare. Dies ist die Phase 1 des Prozesses.
