Gestaltung, Planung und behördliche Genehmigung für die Minderung der Auswirkungen von drei (3) instream barriers in den Demonstrations-Einzugsgebieten des LIFE-Projekts Waters of LIFE. Zwei Barrieren befinden sich im Shournagh Demonstrations-Einzugsgebiet in Co. Cork und eine im Graney Demonstrations-Einzugsgebiet in Co. Clare. Dies ist die Phase 1 des Prozesses.

Nationwide Project to classify and map key habitat types within all CIE landbank holdings, including rail networks, CIE landbanks, Dublin Bus and Bus Eireann holdings etc. An AI-enabled algorithm will be trained to identify habitats using an existing orthophotography data set and a scoring mechanism created to assign scores to each parcel of land.

Detailed study of the level of infestation within identified Management Zones. The results of this survey will inform the prioritisation of treatment and the ongoing monitoring of the infestation within Killarney National Park.
