Cost Consultancy and Advisory Services for the Croí Cónaithe (Cities) Scheme

WCWC wish to procure an Architect led multidisciplinary design team for the proposed 'Dungarvan Innovation and Business Development Centre'. The design team will include a Conservation Architect, Civil,/Structural, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, Quantity Surveyors and a Building Energy consultant.

Cork City Council wishes to explore the potential for use of district heating in Cork City to cater for heat energy demand whilst contributing to decarbonisation of Ireland's energy sector.

The Director seeks to establish two multi-party frameworks of specialist service providers to facilitate the excavation (single context method), recovery and analysis of human remains and associated evidence, under forensic control, from the Tuam site in accordance with the Institutional Burials Act 2022 and international best practice.

Technical Consultancy Services Derreen Road, Killarney (Planning and Design Phases 1, 2, 3, 4). The consultant will ensure that options include measures that have a reduced impact on the environment throughout their life cycle, as compared to alternative products/solutions, in line with Green Procurement Guidance for the public sector and National and Local Climate Change Adaption Strategies.

Tipperary County Council has identified the need to engage the services of an Engineering Consultancy led, single point, multi-disciplinary design team to advance the preliminary design, detailed design, statutory planning requirements, enabling and procurement to progress the Lisbunny Link Road Scheme, including carrying out the duties of PSDP, along with the procurement of other services, surveys and investigations as required to advance the scheme. The subject of this brief is located on the outskirts of Nenagh town centre within the Municipal District of Nenagh, County Tipperary. The scheme is located between the R445 Dublin Road to the south and the L1211 Old Birr Road to the north. It incorporates a new extension of the existing L5146 Lisbunny Industrial Park road to join the L1211. The proposed new extension is approximately 350 metres in length. Options for the upgrade of the existing L5146 are to be examined and designed within the brief also. The length of existing road potentially to be upgraded is approximately 550 metres. This tender is for the establishment of a Single Party Framework Agreement and the initial contract being for CWMF Stages (i) to (iii). Subsequent Stages may be called off from the Framework.

DPC intends to establish a multi-party framework for Port Hydrographic Survey Works, to: a. provide hydrographic, geophysical, and associated marine survey services across DPC's operational and capital programme requirements; b. support DPC in fulfilling its statutory duties as a client in respect of health and safety coordination during the design process, across a range of civil, structural, marine, building and infrastructure projects throughout the framework term. Framework Members shall be capable of providing, as a minimum, the following survey services whether in-house or through an approved consortium: DPC requires firms with strong health and safety design coordination experience across a range of construction project types, including civil engineering, marine structures, port infrastructure, buildings, and utilities works. A. Core Survey Services Non-Exhaustive The required expertise includes, but is not limited to: • Multi-Beam EchoSounder MBES monitoring surveys of all navigation channels, berth facilities, docks, and anchorage areas; • MBES measurement surveys in association with capital and maintenance dredging works, including pre-, interim, and post-dredge surveys; • Assessment of seabed characteristic information from backscatter returns where MBES equipment is used; • Single-Beam EchoSounder SBES monitoring surveys where required, particularly at Dundalk Port and in shallow areas; • Assistance with archaeological and obstruction identification, including geophysical, magnetometer, side scan sonar SSS, and drop-down video DDV services; • Acquisition of intertidal areas and adjacent structures using LIDAR-based methods; • Establishment of new and existing berth fender lines and quay features; • Calibration and validation of port tide gauges and tide boards; • Establishment and/or validation of temporary benchmarks; • Provision of post-processing, quality control, and data management, including delivery of survey data in agreed formats XYZ, LAS, CARIS, PDF, and other formats as required; • Preparation of survey reports, cross-sections, contour plots, and comparison overlays to DPC's requirements. • Professional indemnity, marine liability, and other insurances in the amounts required under the Framework Agreement. B. Additional Services In addition to the core survey services set out above, DPC may require Framework Members to provide the following additional services under individual call-off contracts: Additional services may include non-exhaustive: • Sub-bottom profiling surveys; • Wreck investigation and obstruction surveys; • Geotechnical sampling support positioning and data integration; • Assistance with environmental monitoring surveys suspended sediment, turbidity, etc.; • GNSS/RTK control network establishment and verification; BIM and GIS integration and delivery of survey data to DPC's asset management systems. Candidates should note that this list is non-exhaustive, and the successful tenderer may be required to provide other survey services as requested by DPC during the Framework. Important: DPC seeks only Candidates capable of delivering all core services listed in Section 3.1A, whether in-house or through a consortium/grouping. Applications limited to one or more survey types only may be rejected.

Roscommon County Council wishes to procure a multi-disciplinary Integrated Design Team to complete preliminary design, statutory consent process (planning) detailed design, ER role and handover, for the redevelopment (regeneration) of an area of Town Core lands within Ballaghaderreen Town. A masterplan has been completed and the Integrated Design Team will take their lead from this place and seek to deliver the elements within that plan. Note - no buildings are proposed at this time.

The Architect will act as Lead Consultant and will be responsible for coordinating and managing the full multi-disciplinary design team, programme, cost and delivery of the projects. During the construction stage, the Design Team will be required to provide ongoing technical support, respond to queries arising on site and advise on proposed variations and other matters affecting the delivery of the works.
