Tenders for Transport services (excl. Waste transport)

The procurement is for a framework agreement for the delivery of helicopter services. The helicopter services are requested to be carried out in 4 geographical areas; Hordaland (south of Sognefjorden), Rogaland, Sogn og Fjordane (north of Sognefjorden), and Møre og Romsdal. Emphasis is put on the fact that these areas state the contracting authority ́s primary need, but that in the contract period there can also be a need for equivalent services in other parts of Western Norway. The contracting authority intends to enter into contracts with up to four (4) tenderers per geographical area and reserves the right to enter into contracts with fewer tenderers if there is not a sufficient number of tenders that fulfil the competition ́s requirements and terms. The volume distribution between the areas can vary. Most of the assignments are expected to be carried out with small/medium sized helicopters. Purchasing power West is not currently aware of assignments that require a large helicopter (+ 3,000 kg), but it is subject to acute incidents/situations where needed. Unforeseen assignments will mostly be assistance in various operational situations, including errors in power installations and pipelines. In order to ensure that the helicopter is as accessible as possible in such situations, it is a requirement that the helicopter company has available helicopters in Western Norway. This means that in the event of acute needs/events, a helicopter will be required to meet at the agreed time. The contracting authority emphasises that the planned entity for the coming seasons is subject to uncertainty and that the stated estimated contract value in point 1.3 is based on historical values. In addition it must be expected that there may be a need for flights connected to unforeseen assignments beyond the planned activity. This is the qualification phase of the competition.

The Contracting Authorities intend to establish a framework agreement with a suitably qualified and experienced economic operator for the provision of a range of transport services associated with organ transplant activities. Concerning the legislative context for this competition, Regulation 16 of S.I. 325 of 2012, which addresses the quality and safety of human organs intended for transportation, makes specific reference to the need to ensure that the transport of organs is governed by appropriate operating procedures. It is anticipated that this competitive process will identify an economic operator capable of providing a high-quality service that safeguards the integrity of organs during transport within suitable transport times.

Haugesund municipality needs transport of cooled food to care users and between different production and preparation kitchens. In addition to catering deliveries internally in the municipality. The tenderer shall provide transport services in the period 09.00-14.00 Tuesday - Friday, there is an average need for approx. 20 hours transport services a week.

The Norwegian National Opera & Ballet (DNO&B) needs to enter into a framework agreement with one tenderer for the delivery of freight and forwarding services. The objective of the procurement is to ensure efficient, flexible and reliable transport systems for DNO&B ́s activities. The assignments will mainly include both international and national dispatches. The dispatches will vary in scope and complexity, from smaller express packages to transporting complete productions. The latter can include dispatches equivalent to 1-10 units in the form of 20-45 foot containers and/or semi-trailers. Major transports can, as a main rule, be planned beforehand, but there will also be a need for ad hoc deliveries with a short response time.
