The aim of the scheme is to ensure assistance for the contracting authority, both professionally and process wise for projects if the contracting authority does not have the capacity to carry out the work itself.

Preparation of project documentation

Inland Fisheries Ireland is seeking to procure multidisciplinary consultancy services to assist with the delivery of two Barrier Mitigation Projects: Cahernahallia Bridge and Blackboy Weir in Co. Limerick and Co. Tipperary, through the completion of Phases 1 to 3. The appointed Consultant will undertake all necessary engineering, environmental and planning services required to progress the project through feasibility, option selection, and statutory consent stages in accordance with the Planning and Development Acts 2000–2023, the Capital Works Management Framework, and Infrastructure Guidelines 2023. The Barrier Mitigation Projects aim to mitigate the impacts of the identified barriers on fish passage and restore more natural river processes along the associated rivers. The commission forms a specific action under Ireland’s Water Action Plan 2024 and supports implementation of the National Barrier Mitigation Programme to deliver improved ecological status under the EU Water Framework Directive. The Consultant will act as the Designer, Project Supervisor Design Process during all Phases of the project and carry out all related necessary duties.

Consulting engineering design services for major projects or projects where there will be a need for special capacity/competence/experience. Framework agreement for consulting engineer services for Salangen municipality in the period 2026 - 2029 with one tenderer. Disciplines include: Architect (ARK), Engineering Design Group Manager (PGL), Consultant engineer for construction (RIB), Consultant engineer electro (RIE), Consultant engineer for water, sewage and surface water (RIVA), Consultant engineer for roads and installations (RIA), Consultant engineer for ventilation, heating and sanitation installations (RIV).

Kragerø municipality shall establish back-up water supply in accordance with orders from the Norwegian Food Safety Authority. The reserve water supply involves the establishment of a new water treatment facility, transfer pipelines and elevated basin. The municipality thus needs support for consultants with relevant experience, who can provide uniform services in support of their organisation for the development and execution of the project.
